Experience moving to Florida
It’s been like moving to a vacation - I have the beach and Disney World nearby! I’ve made good friends and have been able to stay in touch with friends back in Indiana - even seeing some of them at Disney.
Finding a church
My parents picked our church - it’s definitely more formal than our parish in Indiana, but I’m active as an acolyte and more recently with technology, helping run sound and video and coming up with new ideas for communicating with video and social media.
Time at DaySpring (summer camp, the happening etc)
Summer Camp and Happening are really fun. The activities are entertaining and different then what I normally do at home. The staff are great and it’s easy to get involved. I’m excited about the possibilities of serving as a junior counselor this summer and helping grow the Happening as well.
